NHS Yorkshire and the Humber and the Yorkshire Post have launched a search to find the Yorkshire Post NHS Health and Social Care Hero of the Year Award 2010.
The award is a chance to say a public “thank you” for the exceptional and vital work done everyday by people working within health and social care in our region.
Do you know someone who has made a difference to people’s lives? Then please take the time to nominate now.
It could be a doctor or nurse, or perhaps a volunteer, charity or social worker who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide outstanding service to you, or someone you know.
Once nominations have closed on 3 August, five shortlisted people will appear in the Yorkshire Post between 27 September and 1 October, and members of the public will be able to vote for their winning Hero between 2 October and 6 October.
